Katarzyna Kolodziej PhD

Compliance Officer QA, Teva Netherlands

Since May 2012 I have been a compliance officer at the Quality Assurance department of Teva Nederland. I am responsible for assessment and maintenance of the compliance of drug production procedures with GMP and Teva quality guidelines and with registration files. Before that, for almost two years I was R&D Manager in very small, privately owned company specializing in OTC and Medical Devices. I was involved in developing, formulating, testing, CE registration, patenting, manufacturing and sales (all in collaboration with contract manufacturers) of various products for topical, oral, nasal and vaginal application. Until spring 2010 I was a Post-doc at NKI in Amsterdam. I was using the Dam-ID technique to map binding sites of protein and RNA molecules. In 2008 I obtained my PhD at ErasmusMC, Rotterdam. My project focused on the isolation of nuclear proteins in hematopoietic cells by affinity tagging in vivo biotinylation, and studying their network of interactions and function in gene regulation.

Katarzyna participated as a speaker in the Life Science Cafe of October 2012.
