Sanne Griffioen Roose PhD

Sanne currently works as a researcher at the Sensory, Flavour & Behavioural Sciences  group at FrieslandCampina, Wageningen. Sanne (1982) obtained her MSc in Biomedical Sciences/Neuroscience in 2006 at Utrecht University. She was then appointed as a junior researcher at TNO, Quality of Life, in Zeist.

In 2007, she started her PhD at the Division of Human Nutrition at Wageningen University. Human behaviour had always been her main topic of interest, and this project offered her an opportunity to investigate this in relation to food. After defending her thesis in 2012 she stayed for another 1,5 year as a post-doc .

Since May 2013 she is working for FrieslandCampina and continues to investigate human food intake behaviour.

Sanne Griffioen Roose participated in the speeddate session of the PCDI Postdoc Retreat Life Sciences 2014.
